ANOTHER EFFORTLESS NIGHT...ITS THE DUCKS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!

After a week of rest for the HABS, they did not show any kind of solid effort whatsoever, it seems to me that HABS gave up the season. I am speechless, we lost to the DUCKS. By the way, i am writing this after the fact that the game happened 2 weeks ago, so don't blame me for such a short blog, cuz honestly, i do not want to remember that game. THEO poor night. Defense TERRIBLE. RIBEIRO and DAGENAIS sucks as usual. THAT's IT THAT's ALL. WAIT FOR KOVY TO COME BACK!

HABS showed no effort in a blown out victory by the SENS!!!

The Sens once again showed their dominance and skills under the NHL by tearing up the Habs D by scoring 4 goals and not letting the Habs strike once. Ray Emery played a strong game, keeping away all 20 some odd shots of the Habs. In addition, Heatley extended his game point streak to 22 games, one game shy of tying the NHL record currently hold by the Great One, Wayne Gretzky. On this night, the Habs have no one to blame but themselves. Yes, they are missing 3 key defencemen, Souray, Markov, and Komisarek as well as their superstar, Alex Kovalev. However, if you watched the entire game, you will be disappointed to find out that the Habs are missing more than just Kovy and their D, they are lacking the fire, the energy, the passion, and the sense of winning and direction. They look lost and confused out there. I must say, tonight's game was by far the Habs worst performance of the season. One thing for sure is the fact that when you play against the best team in the league, you cannot win by playing at the normal level of intensity and skill, you must give it all you got. Coach Julien must find a way to motivate its players and to show them that they can win against any team of the league even with all the injuries and suspension. More importantly, Claude Julien has to spark offence in his second line of Ryder and Mickey Ribs. Koivu's line cannot carry the team on its own, it needs support from the 2nd line. Ribeiro only scored one goal in 14 games. Goaltending needs to be more solid and consistent, but i must admit, Theo has been playing much better compare to the beginning of the season. The D must be there to help him not only defensively and offensively. Souray has to quit finding excuses for himself, he must find his '04 form to start helping out on powerplays and start playing quality D. Dandenault has yet to play up to his full potential, being playing only decently. Bonk so far has been a bust, yes you heard it again, another disappointing performance from him. Not only he's doing anything offensively, even defensively, he's terrible. One thing that is going through Julien's mind is when will Kovy come back. Well, he's not back for a few more weeks, so let's hope by then, the Habs will still be in contention for a playoff spot. One last thing, its not yet time for Gainey to panic whatsoever, but, he needs to acquire #1 defenceman and quality strong left winger by the time playoff comes!...

Terrible Officiating Costs Habs Win in the MOTHERLAND OF HATE aka. TO

After sadly witnessing my beloved Habs losing 3rd straight to the worst and most dirty team in the league, the damn LEAFS, I have made up my mind that the new NHL has done as much good to the habs as it has done bad for them. First and foremost, Sundin is pure crap. Secondly, the penalty call on Rivet with 4 seconds left is such PURE GARBAGE. It was accidental contact!. The refs should open their eyes or use their judgements for once. Who calls a penalty with 4 seconds left in the 3rd period. I must admit Habs didnt play their best game, but man, give them a break. They played hard enough to tie the game on the beautiful goal by Plekanec, rising Habs star. So give them a fair chance to win the game in OT for crying out loud. Is that too much to ask. Leafs are a bunch of crying baby, who play dirty and score the uglyiest goal. I really don't understand how they possibly win games with washed-up hockey players, who were once amazing in the OLD NHL and are way past their prime. Also, they are all one hit or injury away from calling it a career. I really hope that the Refs will learn how to ref a fair game.

To be less bias, Sundstrom and Bonk played a terrible game. Bonk has been a bust since been acquired. Hopefully, he'll be soon the Bonk that Sens has been waiting for 10 years when they drafted him. Theo played a relatively good night. It was definitely not his fault tonight. The Habs once again did play 60 minute of good, passion-filled, energetic Habs hockey. Hopefully, this lost would serve as a wake up call for the HABS before facing the powerful Sens who have been destroying almost every team they play against. Of course, they have yet to destroy the Habs. Hopefully, Kovalev will come back soon because it really seems like without him leading the team, the HABS looks so lost, honestly it looks like they lost their soul. Ryder and yes Micky Ribs have to step it up in the absence of Kovy. Also, Begin and Souray must also gain back the form they had at the beginning of the season. I know that ever since Begin got the virus, he has been the same player. Souray ever since his marital problems, his play was deeply affected. Hopefully, he'll be a man soon and get over it and start to play hockey and realize that the HABS need him on the POWERPLAY. Hope, he finds another hot partner again. By the way, since this is my first blog, I want to right away establish the fact that I DESPISED DAGENAIS and MICKEY RIBS. I don't even know why Dagenais is playing NHL hockey, he's so bad. He can do nothing. He has the size of Bertuzzi but he does not use to its full potential.
